The Traineeship Program
The traineeship is a four year part-time program where you will study for an Electrical Technology (Advanced Diploma) at TAFE, and gain work experience at EnergyAustralia. This working period will allow you to practically demonstrate what you’re learning. You will also have the opportunity to develop your teamwork, leadership and communication skills.
In the period you are working full time you’ll be rotating through one year long job roles in four different sections. As this is a part-time four year course, when TAFE is in session, each week we’ll give you a day to study. From day one you will be part of a team, treated as a valued member and be given real responsibilities.
After you have completed your traineeship and TAFE Advanced Diploma, you will be eligible to apply for a promotion to an engineering officer role at EnergyAustralia.
